The products fair and exhibition which will be held on both days does not require any registration and it will be open to public. The exhibition will be open to public from 1 pm to 5 pm on the 16th and from 9 am to 5 pm on the 17th.

OPENING CEREMONY
Investment and Product Fair to be Opened by Vice President U Myint Swe, along with cultural dances and a specially-produced Chin video. The Vice President will provide Keynote Remarks followed by Opening Remarks from the head of DFID Myanmar and the MIC Chairman. Following the opening ceremony, VIPs will have a photo session and visit the innovative Chin booths.

Product booths of local industries and government departments kept open to all

The Chin Investment and Product Fair will raise awareness of prospective business opportunities in Chin state, promote trade and attract investment. The event will provide a significant occasion for Chin State to showcase their untouched natural beauty, unique cultural heritage, tradition, identity and investment trade opportunities, as well as for Chin State SMEs to display and market their products and services, and for private and private sectors to discuss business opportunities and challenges to unlock Chin’s investment potential.

Senior officials and private sector representatives will present their views and targeted sector-based small panels will discuss sector business opportunities with follow-up Q&A sessions involving relevant business leaders, state ministers and department heads.

This Chin State Investment and Product Fair is a rare occasion in Yangon to meet the Chin business community, Chin state chief minister, ministers and relevant department heads, as well as development partners, foreign chambers, and the Myanmar business community. It is a unique opportunity to explore the business potential of Chin State and to enjoy Chin culture and the untouched beauty of one of the last frontier states in Myanmar.
